O`KEY Group S.A. (LSE: OKEY, the “Group”), one of Russia’s leading food retailers, has released a new mobile app fully aligned around the One Retail concept. Customers now have access to the entire O`KEY ecosystem from a single app and can take advantage of all sales channels.
The mobile app incorporates the latest technology and design trends, translating to a great user experience. A range of new features will help customers to optimise their budget planning, while the app interface has been streamlined to make navigation more intuitive and save time for shoppers. For example, users can plan out shopping lists, choosing specific products from a store’s product mix, and budget as they go.
The omnichannel app enables a single approach to communicating with the customer – both online and offline. This means that customers can use the app to register for our loyalty programme, access their shopping history, use coupons, access their e-loyalty card, earn and redeem points (regardless of the chosen sales channel), and stay up-to-date on promotions and discounts across for the regions in which the Group operates.
Today, the mobile app provides access to more than 20,000 SKUs in food and non-food categories of O`KEY hypermarkets, including perishables like meat, poultry, fish, fruit and vegetables, bakery and dairy. In addition, customers can choose express delivery, delivery by a certain date and time, or even to pick up their order from any O`KEY hypermarket.
The updated app is already available for Android users and will be launched for iOS in March.
O`KEY Group first launched its mobile app in 2016: back then, it was an online store offering all the products and related goods available from the product mix at a traditional hypermarket. Since then, the app’s functionality has been enhanced, the points system optimised, and e-commerce innovations introduced.
O`KEY Group’s IT solutions are also well regarded by industry experts. In 2018, the judging panel of the Best Mobile App Awards gave a platinum award to the O`KEY Mobile application, commending the app’s Mobile Family function for its convenience and ease of use. In addition, O`KEY Group ranked second in the Retail Store Website category of the Golden Website and Golden App 2020 awards.
